The project commenced on December 1st, 2023, and will run for 36 months. It brings together ten (10) partners from seven (7) countries (Greece, Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, Ukraine, and Czechia). These partners include eight (8) research organizations (FORMIT, URJC, KEMEA, VUB, BayHfoD, KhNUIA, AMO, UNIBO), the Hellenic Police, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

RESONANT aims to enhance the understanding of state and non-state actors outside the EU who systematically engage in information suppression. It also seeks to develop strategies, tools, and methodologies to counter disinformation and information manipulation, particularly targeting vulnerable groups like diaspora communities.

The Hellenic Police’s involvement in RESONANT allows it to actively contribute to developing tools and methodologies to effectively address information suppression and manipulation by foreign actors.
