Greek Police compiled a special information bulletin/questionnaire — translated in 13 languages — in order to help in the process of identifying victims of trafficking. The bulletin is targeted at trafficking victims and is accompanied by a circular sent to all Greek Police services outlining the implementation of a unified legal framework, the procedure for identifying victims, implementation of accepted procedures and cooperation amongst responsible bodies.
Furthermore, in December 2004, a document was sent to the regional – operational services of the Hellenic Police Force, including specialized questions that are of help to the investigators of trafficking cases. By asking potential victims these questions, the Officers responsible for investigating those cases are able, on one hand, to determine whether it is indeed a victim of trafficking and on the other, to collect information that shall be used afterwards in the course of the penal process.
