OSINT RADAR

The Hellenic Police is participating in the research project “Anti-Smuggling Operational Partnership in The Western Balkans and Eastern EU Borders” under the acronym “OSINT RADAR” of the “ISF” funding programme.

The project has a duration of 36 months and involves a total of 9 institutions, of which six (6) are public organisations, two (2) are police authorities and one (1) is a university.

The aim of this action is to prevent and combat the illegal trafficking of migrants, while at the same time intercepting the criminal organisations operating in the Western Balkans and at the Eastern borders of the European Union, through the creation of Common Operational Partnerships.

These structures will support cooperation between the relevant law enforcement and judicial authorities of Italy, Greece, Romania, Albania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Moldova and Germany through the establishment of open source investigation centers covering the Western Balkans and the Eastern border of the European Union.
