Meeting Between the Chief of the Hellenic Police and the President & CEO of the NYPD Foundation
On Tuesday, June 23, 2026, the Chief of the Hellenic Police, Lieutenant General Dimitrios Mallios, held a meeting with Ms. Susan Birnbaum, President and Chief Executive Officer of the NYPD Foundation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest. Lieutenant General Mallios received a detailed briefing on the Foundation’s operational framework, its governance model, and the initiatives it implements in support of the New York City Police Department (NYPD).
The discussions took place in an excellent and constructive atmosphere. Both parties expressed their readiness to explore opportunities for future cooperation, including the exchange of expertise and best practices in this field.
