Hellenic Police Academy is based in Athens and its objective is to provide training, re-training and education for its officers` corps.

The Academy consists of:

  • An Officers` School, which is a university-level institution
  • A Police Constable School
  • A National Security School
  • A Continuing Education School
  • The director of the police academy, is a senior-level officer and is responsible for supervising and coordinating these separate faculties.

Instructors are comprised of distinguished university professors, experts and experienced officers from the Force. The curriculum includes university-level courses, specialized vocational courses and field training.
